The new Adrian Belew Echoflanger is an all-analog pedal engineered to deliver everything from subtle, airy modulation to intense, wild soundscapes. In addition to faithful recreations of the original unit’s core modes—Filter Matrix, Flange, Chorus, and Slap Back—the pedal includes new dual-combination modes:
- Slap Back + Filter Matrix
- Adrian’s Signature Chorus + Flange (recreating his famous “in-between switch” technique used on classic records)
Controls & Architecture
- Volume, Rate, & Width: Standard output, speed, and sweep depth controls.
- Tune: Dials in the center point of the modulation waveform.
- Feedback: Sweeps from mild resonance to extreme self-oscillation.
- Blend Switch: Adds or removes the dry signal for traditional chorus/flanger tones or pure vibrato effect.
