NAMM Show setup goes into high gear this week with opening day Wednesday, January 24. Nearly 100,000 people from 90 countries will gather in Anaheim to preview products from over 1,400 companies. The NAMM Show includes every imaginable music-related product along with lighting, DJ gear, music technology including apps and software for the professional and consumer, guitars, drums, synthesizers, band and orchestra instruments, studio recording equipment and more.

New for NAMM 13

Registration will move out of the lobby and into surrounding hotels. Now attendees can check in, pick up their badges and go straight into the show. The open lobby will play host to an exclusive Member Center, digital media hub, new product showcases and more. ID checks will be conducted at the glass doors before entering the lobby so no more delays going from hall to hall.

Lighting and touring sound will now take center stage in “The Venue” located in The Arena at the Anaheim Convention Center. The Venue’s dimmed overhead lighting and tall ceilings will allow lighting and entertainment technology products to truly shine as the concert experience comes to life at the NAMM Show.

The new Grand Plaza, a 100,000 square foot outdoor multi-use area designed for outdoor enjoyment and meeting space which runs between the Hilton and Marriott leading to the main entrance of the Anaheim Convention Center, will include an outdoor stage for live music throughout the day and a place for Members to network. Free concerts during NAMM week will include performances by Tower of Power and the California Transit Authority.
