The Hummingbird™ Studio EC continues Gibson’s long history of producing world-famous square shoulder body designs and now offers players even more expressive possibilities with a cutaway mahogany body paired with a Sitka spruce top that delivers improved upper fret access. The utile neck features a rosewood fretboard with mother-of-pearl parallelogram inlays, a fast-playing Round SlimTaper™ profile, and a 16” radius for easy string bending. The TUSQ® bridge pins, saddle, and nut, along with the Grover® Rotomatic® tuning machines, keep the tuning solid. The pickguard features one-color Hummingbird Studio graphics, and the satin nitrocellulose finish gives the Hummingbird Studio EC the look and feel of a long-treasured musical companion. An L.R. Baggs™ Element Bronze active under-saddle piezo pickup ensures easy studio-quality plug-and-play anywhere, while the included hardshell case helps keep this ‘bird safe wherever your travels take you.

The Hummingbird has become more versatile and expressive than ever with the introduction of the Hummingbird Standard EC.
