Universal Audio Inc. (UA) has announced a major software update for LUNA, integrating Moises AI tools directly into the DAW for automatic Lyric Transcription and Chord Extraction.
Designed to streamline arrangement and practice workflows, the update allows producers and musicians to analyze audio tracks, generate time-aligned lyric sheets, and auto-map chord progressions directly onto LUNA’s Chord Track without relying on third-party standalone apps.
Key Features of the Moises Integration
- Lyric Transcription: Automatically analyzes vocal audio tracks to generate a time-aligned lyric browser right inside the LUNA session interface.
- Chord Extraction: Detects complex chord structures from incoming audio or reference tracks and automatically maps them to LUNA’s native Chord Track.
- ARA Plug-in Synergy: Extracted chord maps integrate seamlessly with ARA-enabled pitch/harmony tools like Celemony Tonalic to quickly generate new MIDI parts, virtual instrument backings, and vocal harmonies.
