Jackson Guitars has officially announced the Pro Series Signature Phil Collen PC1™-E, marking the latest evolution in a nearly 40-year partnership with Def Leppard guitarist Phil Collen.
For the first time in the model’s history, Collen’s flagship PC1 Dinky architecture moves outside the Custom Shop into the accessible Pro Series line. The PC1-E pairs a road-worn distressed finish with high-performance specs designed to deliver infinite sustain, rock-solid tuning, and versatile pickup combinations for touring and studio guitarists.
Infinite Sustainer & High-Output Pickup Configuration
- 18V PC1 Sustainer Driver Neck Pickup: Operates via a dedicated 18V battery circuit to provide infinite, feedback-style note sustain at any volume level.
- DiMarzio® Pickup Pairings: Combines a high-output DiMarzio® X2N® bridge humbucker with a DiMarzio® Sugar Chakra™ middle humbucker for rich gain, punchy midrange, and single-coil push-pull splitting flexibility.
- Genuine Mahogany Body: Features a road-worn Black Distressed finish over a solid mahogany foundation, accented by gold hardware.
- Caramelized Maple Neck & Ebony Fingerboard: Built with a graphite-reinforced caramelized maple neck, 12″–16″ compound-radius ebony fingerboard, and 24 jumbo frets.
- Floyd Rose® 1000 Series Tremolo: Equipped with a Floyd Rose 1000 Series double-locking tremolo and Jackson locking tuners for extreme pitch-bending and tuning stability.
