New MicroPitch Immersive, Valley reverb, and Upmixing algorithms bring advanced multichannel processing to the H9000

Eventide is expanding the H9000 Harmonizer with a new suite of immersive algorithms designed for spatial audio, surround, and multichannel production workflows. Powered by the increased processing capabilities introduced with H9000 Gen2, the update brings immersive algorithms for reverb, pitch shifting, and upmixing to Quad, 5.1, 5.1.2, and 7.1 formats.

At the center of the update is MicroPitch Immersive, bringing Eventide’s acclaimed spatial pitch-shifting effect to the H9000. Supporting up to eight channels of spatialized, detuned delays, MicroPitch Immersive combines independent delay and pitch processing with modulation, EQ, and crossfeed controls to create width, movement, and dimensionality.

The update also introduces Valley, a new reverb inspired by classic architectures and reimagined for modern production. Designed to create deep, multidimensional spaces with extensive control over their character, Valley is available in Stereo, Quad, 5.1, and 7.1 configurations. Haze, an immersive-specific control available in Quad, 5.1, and 7.1, spreads reverb output from each speaker into neighboring channels to create a more seamless soundfield.

New Upmixer algorithms make it possible to transform existing sources for immersive environments, expanding material across Quad, 5.1, 5.1.2, and 7.1 configurations while providing new ways to position and shape sound throughout the spatial field.

More than 200 new FX Chains and presets accompany the release, providing production-ready starting points across industry-standard immersive formats and expanding the H9000 as a platform for spatial mixing, sound design, and post-production.

Availability

The new immersive algorithm suite is available now for existing H9000 Gen2 owners as a free update via Emote software. H9000 Gen1 owners can access Valley as a stereo algorithm. Gen2 DSP Upgrade Kits are available for Gen1 units at eventideaudio.com. For assistance updating your system, contact Eventide Support
