I have gone to almost every NAMM show since the mid-80s when I was working at Pro Sound & Stage Lighting in Huntington Beach, CA. Later, I was a vendor for BBE Sound and G&L Guitars. We designed product, catalogs, ads and all sorts of marketing materials including brochures and posters for their booths at the NAMM show. In 2002 I purchased a Canon GL2 and thought it would be fun to shoot some video at NAMM. At that time there was almost nobody shooting video, except for contractors for NAMM and the big manufacturers.
