Main Street Huntington Beach – A great place to hear free live local musicians performing at twilight and under the stars
Enjoy a stroll on Main Street, taste a $1 taco and take in the sounds of street performers on Tuesday night. Surf City Nights started as a temporary test project several years ago, but due to its popularity it is now a permanent attraction that runs all year long. On a cold winter night the crowds can be a little sparse, but by summer the street is packed with people sampling foods from restaurants and bakeries and purchasing fresh vegetables from the farmers market. The event has expanded to include the Strand at 5th and PCH.
Placed at one block intervals starting at Pacific Coast Highway, you can watch several bands and solo performers at the street fair that runs from 5-9PM. Performers have included; Eric Kufs, Ugly Paint, Seis Cuerdas, Adam Ho, Phat Reggae Dub Status, TJ Brown and many others. Visit our Free Concert Calendar for current news on Surf City Nights or to search for events in your local area. You can even Submit Events – events are moderated before going live – to the calendar.
