Switchfoot is an American alternative rock band from San Diego, California. The band’s members are Jon Foreman ( lead vocals, and guitar) Tim Foreman ( bass guitar and vocals) ,  Chad Butler – drums, Jerome Fontamillas – keyboard, guitar and vocals, and Drew Shirley – guitar and vocals.

Energetic live shows, while throwing in a few ballads as well.

Switchfoot first gained mainstream recognition with the inclusion of four of their songs in the  movie Walk to Remember. Sold  over 2 million copies best-known singles, “Meant to Live”

“Switchfoot” is a surfing term. “Surfer all their lives.

The band has completed their seventh studio album, Hello Hurricane and was the first song the sang at the US Open Surging FREE Concert sponsored by Hurley, Converse, BMX, So many to list.
